I love all things decorating and all things Christmas, so it is no surprise that I look forward to this month and the twinkling lights, the abundance of garland, the neighborhood doors and windows adorned with thick wreaths.  I also like to switch things up a bit and change out the seasonal decor in my home each year.  The other day, I went to IKEA and got everything I needed to create a fresh, festive holiday centerpiece in one place, all for under $90.

I wanted to make sure that there was plenty of lush green without having to worry about watering plants each day.  These faux arrangements are the perfect solution.

This rug serves as a great tablerunner under the centerpiece.  It is just the right size for our coffee table and the fringe details and stripes can be reused in different seasons.

The greenery tucked in each corner of the woven basket creates a full look and the red berries add just the pop of color that I was looking for.

This centerpiece looks just as pretty at night when the candle is lit as it does in the daytime thanks to the bold colors.  And it can be transferred to a dining table or side table neatly and easily, since it is all contained in one simple basket.

Happy Holiday Season!
