The past couple of days, the weather has been absolute perfection in the form of cool mornings and sunny afternoons.  The kind of weather that calls for a comfy sweater to throw on to start the day and keep close so it can be put back on in the early evening.  The kind of weather that allows me to still wear my favorite denim cut-offs that I haven’t given up since the beginning of summer.  So, when I arrived 40 minutes ahead of schedule for a meeting the other day, and happened upon a parking spot directly across from Free People, I scooped up a couple of cozy cardigans for fall.

Here are some of my current favorite Free People picks in the rust and blush and neutral tones that I have been coveting so far this season.

{Top Row, Left to Right}:

1.   The softest scarf in the shade that goes with everything this season.

2.  Hands-down my favorite cardigan for fall in a pretty pink dust. (now on sale HERE!)

3.  A comfy, roomy henley tee distressed just enough so that it already looks lived in.

{Bottom Row, Left to Right}:

1. Love this heavy knit for chilly nights.

2.  This neutral sweater vest pairs just as well with skinny jeans and flares as it does with a suede mini skirt.

3. Beautiful mock-neck sweater cropped to the waist and perfect with a denim skirt.

Happy fall shopping!
