It’s A New Dawn, It’s A New Day

That little line from the Nina Simone classic has become sort of a mantra of late.  A reminder that no matter how big a fail today has seemed, no matter how many tasks still remain on the perpetual to-do list, that the sun will set.  The sun will rise.  That tomorrow is a punctual, reliable friend.  It will be there, without a shadow of a doubt, and, if lucky enough, so will you.  So, take that new dawn for what it is.  Take that new day and do whatever it is, whatever it requires to get yourself that much closer to the person you want to be.

Happy Monday!
