We have been experiencing fall-like weather this first few days of June in northern New Jersey and it’s forced me to bring out some of my clothes that I already swapped to the backs of my drawers and closet. I had just gotten into the dress-mode where it was finally getting consistently warm enough to throw on a comfortable, easy-to-wear dress each and every day, eliminating the need to spend time picking out full outfits and allowing me to get out the door quickly and more efficiently. And then, just like that, the cool air strikes. Dipping below 60 temperatures when you are so looking forward to a long-awaited summer is a bummer. But I got to change up my wardrobe a bit and fall in love with pieces I haven’t seen since November. This lightweight black ribbed dress is so perfect for any season that I have it in navy and white stripes, too. I paired this with slip-on Converse and a military vest for a relaxed look fitting for this unexpected cooler weather.
